GENERAL FAQs

We are completely aware of the sensitivity people can experience with teeth whitening treatments and have kept this in mind during formulation! BOUCHE whitening strips have been formulated with potassium nitrate, the same ingredient used in toothpastes to treat sensitivity to give you the most comfortable whitening experience!

This can vary depending on your diet and how often you consume foods or drinks that stain your teeth. As a general rule, we recommend giving your teeth an 8 week break in between whitening treatments.

Results will last at least 4-6 months! This again depends on the amount of wine, coffee, tobacco and coloured foods in your diet. We recommend top ups throughout the year to help you maintain that white smile!

Our Whitening strips have been designed and intended for the use on natural teeth. Whitening Strips will not whiten any restorative work you have had done to your teeth they will simply remove the stains off them and restore them to their original colour. If you are unsure and need further clarification, please email hello@boucheoralcare.com.

We always make clear that whitening treatment is not a substitute for general dental treatment. It is important you maintain 6 monthly dental check-ups and have cleans done as necessary. It is best to see your dentist first and have the tartar removed before embarking on any whitening treatment. BOUCHE whitening strips will work best once tartar is removed.

No. We do not recommend whitening strips if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Quite frankly, there is not enough research to be sure if it is safe.

If you have any concerns as to whether our products are suitable for your teeth we advise you consult with your dental professional first. We do not recommend our teeth whitening strips for people who already experience tooth sensitivity or have enamel defects like white spots (hypomineralisation) or pitting. We also don't recommend them to people who have restorative treatment like composite veneers, porcelain veneers, bridges & implants as our whitening strips have been formulated for use on natural teeth only.
